Building on LARQ’s expanding portfolio of water purification products, the LARQ Bottle Filtered offers safe, great tasting water anywhere. A replaceable filter with minimal plastic content removes contaminants like lead and chlorine when filled with treated tap water.
Push gently on the cap’s rocker and an elegantly thin drinking spout emerges. It closes just as easily, fitting flush to the silhouette with no protruding features.
Powered by sip action, the Nano Zero filter meets ANSI 42 + 53 standards, removing contaminants like lead, heavy metals, chlorine, pesticides and other pollutants and particulates commonly found in treated tap water systems around the world.
The filter will treat up to 40 gallons (151 liters) of water before requiring replacement, replacing up to 300 single-use plastic water bottles.
The vessel is LARQ’s familiar double-walled, vacuum insulated SS304 stainless steel insulated flask, with a passivated interior for a fresh taste and a BPA-free certification.
Impel devised an innovative carabiner to complement the sleek lines of the bottle. It doubles as a comfortable carry loop and a quick-connect to other gear. The hinge is overmolded in durable rubber for a seamless look and a more comfortable carry in vertical 2-finger grip or horizontal 3-finger position.
Packing so many features in such a tight envelope (while ensuring robust construction and ease of use) required holistic consideration of ergonomics and engineering constraints. Initial consumer qualification proved our preference for a versatile carabiner over other lanyard concepts. Iterative rapid prototypes facilitated bi-coastal development in pandemic conditions.
